Miss World 2025 pageant begun in Hyderabad with a bang

The Miss World 2025 pageant has begun with a bang. Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, who was the chief guest at the ‘Miss World 2025’ on Saturday event being held in Gachibowli, Hyderabad, inaugurated the event with great pomp. Beauties from around 116 countries participated in the pageant.

On the occasion of the opening ceremony of the event, beauties from each country came on stage holding the national flags of their countries. When Miss India Nandini Gupta came on stage holding the national flag, the stadium erupted in applause. Miss Nepali, who came up the ramp wearing a saree, attracted everyone.

The state government is making tight security arrangements to organize the pageant in a grand manner at the Gachibowli Indoor Stadium in the city till the 31st of this month. While the grand finale will be held at Hitex on June 1, beauties from 116 countries are participating in the pageant.

The event was tense in the backdrop of the tense situation with Pakistan, the stadium erupted with the slogan “Bharat Mata Ki Jai” as soon as the Indian flag was seen in the Miss World competition, where countries from around the world participated. As soon as CM Revanth announced the start of the program, all the contestants stood on one stage and sang the Miss World song.

Miss World Christina, Miss World CEO Julia Morley, Tourism Minister Jupally Krishna Rao, CM Advisor Vem Narender Reddy, Government Chief Secretary Ramakrishna Rao, DGP Jitender, Principal Secretary Tourism Jayesh Ranjan, GHMC Mayor Vijayalakshmi, Tourism Board Chairman Patel Ramesh Reddy, Sports Advisor Jitender Reddy and others participated in the program.

The whole world watched these celebrations with interest. Crores of people in the country and abroad watched this program. More than a thousand national and international media representatives covered it online as well as directly. Meanwhile, CM Revanth Reddy stated in ‘X’ that the Miss World competitions are a source of pride for Telangana and Hyderabad has become a venue for world-class celebrations.

“Invitation is extended to those participating in these competitions from many countries around the world. “I hope that the participants in the competitions will enjoy the rich history and culture of Telangana. All the best to those vying for the crown,” the CM posted.
