Minister Narayana says Residential Buildings of Gazetted officials To Be constructed with Rs 514 crore

Municipal Administration Minister Dr. P. Narayana has revealed that the residential buildings of gazetted officials will be constructed at a cost of Rs. 514 crore in Amaravati. He said that the CRDA has approved the allocation of Rs. 194 crore for the creation of additional infrastructure facilities. He said that permission has also been given for the residences and infrastructure facilities of non-gazetted officials in nine towers.

The Minister participated in the 47th meeting of the CRDA held on Tuesday. Earlier, the GVM also met and took several key decisions on land allocation in the capital. Minister Narayana said that permission has been given for tenders at a cost of Rs. 517 crore and a total of Rs. 1732. 31 crore has been given. He also said that a tender has been called for the establishment of a 190 MLD water treatment plant at a cost of Rs. 568. 57 crore.

He said that a decision has been taken to undertake the construction of 15 overhead tanks and permission has been given to undertake the work at a cost of Rs. 494 crore. He explained that permission has also been given for the 3.5 km E3 elevated road and decided to connect these 15 and 13 roads to the national highway.

Dr Narayana said that permission has been given for these to be undertaken at a cost of Rs. 70 and Rs. 387 crores. He explained that a decision has been made to allocate land to various institutions in the GVM. However, he said that it has been decided to allocate 50 acres to the Law University, 50 acres to Quantum Valley, 6 acres to the BasavaTarakam Hospital in addition to the Medical College.

He reminded on this occasion that 15 acres were allocated to this institution in the past. He said that 0.78 acres were allocated to the Income Tax Department, 0.78 acres to the Red Cross Society, and 0. 40 acres to the Coastal Bank. He said that one acre of land has been allocated to the IRCTC.

The Minister said that today the Committee of Ministers has decided to allocate land to 7 institutions. He said that land allocations have been made to 64 institutions in the past. Minister Narayana explained that so far, 1050 acres of land have been allocated in the capital area.
