A new political row has broken out in Andhra Pradesh following Congress MP Chamala Kiran Kumar Reddy and Jana Sena Party chief Pawan Kalyan exchanging venomous exchanges. The trouble started when Pawan Kalyan made a strong comment that Congress leaders “supporting terrorism” should shift to Pakistan — a comment that soon attracted attention and censure.
In a scathing counterattack, Chamala Kiran Kumar Reddy held nothing back. He mocked Pawan Kalyan’s style, stating, “Politics is not a movie where someone gives you a script to read. Disgracing a party with a legacy of more than 140 years is not only irresponsible — it’s shameful.” He also added that those who are eyeing top political posts, including the Deputy Chief Minister role, need to practice maturity and restraint in what they say in public.
Pawan Kalyan’s utterance has ignited fervent reaction across the political board. While some supported his sense of urgency, some others, particularly Congress loyalists, have gone into a state of outrage after hearing his comment. The war of words has soon become a topic on everyone’s lips in the politics of Andhra Pradesh, with one side’s and the other side’s supporters participating quite vigorously on social media.
