Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu has directed all the ministers and MLAs of the coalition parties to sleep in the villages under `Palle Nidura’ programme for four days in a month. After the cabinet meeting, he spoke at length with the ministers on Thursday on how to reach people.
He made it clear that the good things done by the government should be told to the people. The CM mentioned that not even a fourth of the welfare schemes being implemented in the state are being implemented in the neighboring states. He said that the schemes being implemented by the state government should be widely disseminated to the people.
The Chief Minister advised the ministers to study the central schemes of each department and make efforts to ensure that funds are available to the state. The CM also discussed the Rushikonda Palace with the ministers and discussed again what to do with the buildings built by Jagan on Rushikonda. CM Chandrababu suggested that all the ministers should first visit the Rushikonda Palace.
CM Chandrababu asked the ministers that they should express their opinions on what to do next. Similarly, the Chief Minister said that CCTV cameras played a key role in solving the death case of Pastor Praveen and that key evidence is being obtained through CCTV cameras in all cases.
Meanwhile, the AP Cabinet has taken a decision to demerge AP Drone Corporation from AP Fibernet. With this decision, APDC (Andhra Pradesh Drone Corporation) will be separated from APSFL (Andhra Pradesh State Fibernet Limited) and set up as an independent organization. APDC will act as the nodal agency for all drone-related issues in the state.
Approval was also given to set up Jalaharati Corporation. The Polavaram- Banakacharla connecting project will be designed through Jalaharati Corporation. The ministers discussed a total of 23 issues in the cabinet meeting.
Mainly, the construction of the capital Amaravati and many other key issues were discussed in this meeting. Discussions were held on Singapore’s participation in the construction of the capital, the reconstruction work of Amaravati, and Prime Minister Modi’s visit.
