Film actor and writer Posani Krishna Murali has reportedly confessed before the CID police that it was the Sakshi media that provided the script, photos and videos to him to present before a press meet, in which he had used derogatory comments against Chandrababu Naidu, Pawan Kalyan and Nara Lokesh.
During over four hours of interrogation the AP CID conducted on Tuesday with the permission of the court, he admitted that he had no role in preparing the script or photos. In the wake of Posani’s revelation that Sakshi Media had arranged a media conference in Hyderabad and made him make inappropriate comments about Chandrababu and other leaders, CID officials have decided to issue notices to Sakshi Media.
Who arranged the media conference that day? Who wrote and gave the script to Posani? Who provided the morphed photos? Who covered the press meet held by Posani that day? Notices will be issued asking them to provide other details. During the previous YSRCP regime, Posani had arranged a media conference in Hyderabad and made inappropriate comments about Chandrababu and others.
TDP activist Bandaru Vamsi Krishna complained to the Additional DG of CID on October 9 that their sentiments were hurt by this affair. With this, Guntur CID officials registered a case against Posani. In this context, on the 12th of this month, Posani, who was remanded in the Kurnool district jail, was brought to Guntur by CID officials on a PT warrant and produced in court, and the court remanded him.
Meanwhile, on the request of CID officials, who said that more details and evidence were to be obtained in the case, the court allowed Posani to be in custody on Tuesday between 10 am and 5 pm. With this, CID officials took Posani into custody from Guntur district jail at 10 am on Tuesday.
After first undergoing medical examinations at GGH, Posani was taken to the CID office and interrogated under the supervision of DSP Goli Lakshmaiah. Later, he was taken back to the district jail at 5 pm. As the questioning is not completed, the CID police are planning again to approach the court seeking his custody once again.
