Hyderabad: BJP MP Raghunandan Rao stated that the outcome of the Delhi elections serves as a significant lesson for Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy. He asserted that the BJP’s strength in Telangana would become evident in the coming days and expressed confidence that the trend seen in Delhi would be reflected in the state’s local body elections. Taking a dig at Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, he remarked that the Delhi Assembly polls had resulted in a complete setback for him.
Raghunandan Rao also questioned BRS working president K.T. Rama Rao’s (KTR) involvement in the Delhi elections, asking why he was concerned about the outcome. He suggested that if KTR had such an affinity for the Congress, he should consider merging the BRS with the party.
Further, he challenged KTR on why the BRS was not contesting the ongoing MLC elections in 76 Assembly segments and 12 Parliamentary constituencies. He remarked that those unwilling to contest should refrain from making statements, adding that it would be better to minimize discussions about KTR.
