His sister and APCC president YS Sharmila Reddy has accused former chief minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy, who said that a leader should have character and credibility, of having no values and credibility. She lamented that he had back-stabbed his own mother, sister, niece and nephew… he was a coward.
She expressed her anger that cases were filed against her own mother for property. She said that even though Vijayasai Reddy did not like it, he was pressured and he was cursed to assassinate her character.
“Jagan’s character is like an empty bottle. His character is zero. Jagan came to power by mentioning YS Rajasekhara Reddy’s name. But buried all his aspirations,” she criticized. She said that even after the CBI said that Avinash Reddy killed his uncle YS Vivekananda Reddy he was made to sit next to him.
It may be recalled that there were media reports that Vijaya Sai Reddy, who announced his retirement from politics and resigned from the Rajya Sabha seat a few days ago, went to Sharmila’s house in Hyderabad and discussed political issues for about 3 hours.
Sharmila, who recently responded, revealed the details of the meeting. “I cried after hearing what Vijaya Sai Reddy said. Jagan has degraded himself without even looking at his younger sister. He has spoken badly about my character to many people,” she deplored.
“We talked about many things with Vijayasai Reddy. Vijayasai Reddy told us about the problems he faced because of Jagan. I will tell you about the things related to my children only”, she said.
“A case was filed against me and my mother to claim the shares for himself. Jagan forced Vijayasai Reddy to say that my words were false. But, Vijayamme gave clarification stating that Subba Reddy and Vijayasai Reddy’s words were false”, she recalled.
“Even after that, Jagan pressured Vijayasai Reddy. When Vijayasai Reddy did not agree, he spoke to Subba Reddy. After that, Jagan called Vijayasai Reddy again. Jagan himself dictated to Vijayasai Reddy for 40 minutes. Jagan explained everything about how to say it, what to say about me. Later, Jagan expressed his anger when he did not hold a press meet. Vijayasai Reddy told me all these things himself,” YS Sharmila added.
