Kollywood heroine Aishwarya Rajesh did a handful of Telugu films before Sankranti ki Vastunnam. But, she was unable to grab the attention of Telugu filmmakers as her films like Tuck Jagadish, Republic and World Famous Lover and Kousalya Krishnamurthy went unnoticed at the box office.
The blockbuster success of Sankranti ki Vastunnam which emerged as one of the biggest hits of all time in Tollywood gave a new lease of life to the ‘Vada Chennai’ actress. Her casting as Bhagya Lakshmi was near perfect and her commendable performance received plaudits from audiences and critics alike. She is now looking to make a splash in Telugu.
Speaking in an interview, Aishwarya shared her admiration for Jr NTR and expressed her desire to work with him. “If I get a chance to work with Tarak, I would be very joyful and elated. I am manifesting a film with him and hope it happens soon,” says Aishwarya. After playing the role of a family woman beside Venkatesh, Aishwarya is now looking to portray glamorous roles in commercial entertainers. She has lined up a bunch of Tamil film up next.
The fame she attained with the success of Sankranti ki Vastunnam might help her get good offers in Telugu. Filmmakers are likely to queue up for her dates.
