A key turning point has been taken in the sensational telephone tapping case in Telangana. Officials have found that Tripura Governor N. Indrasena Reddy’s cell phone was tapped for 15 days in November 2023. This matter came to light when officials questioned Indrasena Reddy’s PA as part of the investigation.
Indrasena Reddy is currently the Governor of Tripura. So far, everyone thought that only the phones of Congress leaders were tapped during the KCR regime, in the phone tapping. But the names of BJP leaders are also coming to light in this phone tapping.
Officials have found that the phone tapping of Indrasena Reddy, who is currently the Governor of Tripura, was tapped. It is reported that the phone tapping took place between November 15 and November 30, 2023.
Indrasena Reddy’s personal assistant appeared before the SIT investigating this phone tapping case on Friday. He gave details of what happened then. It seems that he is likely to be made a witness in this case as the PA has looked into all the matters related to Indrasena Reddy.
On the other hand, Indrasena Reddy had previously filed a complaint regarding this matter. Based on that complaint, the police are continuing the investigation. What was the real intention behind tapping Indrasena Reddy’s phone during his tenure as governor? A full investigation will be conducted on this.
So far, it has been estimated that the phones of about 300 leaders, businessmen and real estate traders have been tapped, but the police believe that the real facts will come out if a full investigation is carried out.
During the last assembly elections, several police officials, led by SIB OSD Prabhakar Rao were involved in tapping the phones of many prominent people, businessmen and political leaders. In this case, the then SIB officers Pranith Rao, Bhujanga Rao, Tirupatanna and Hyderabad Task Force OST Radhakishan Rao were arrested. A preliminary charge sheet has also been filed.
However, the investigation has been slowed down due to the presence of key accused former SIB chief Prabhakar Rao and another key accused Shravan Kumar are in the US.
