Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu is set to embark on a trip to the World Economic Forum in Davos on January 19, with the aim of attracting significant investments to the state. Through his participation in this global summit, where top business leaders from across the world will gather, Naidu intends to showcase the state’s potential for investment.
Since taking office, CM Naidu has been working to secure investments in Andhra Pradesh, with major companies, including Google, already entering into agreements to invest in the state. To date, contracts for investments worth over ₹4 lakh crore have been signed, with some projects already under construction.
The CM’s Davos visit will focus on highlighting the state’s human resources, infrastructure, government incentives, and efficient leadership to attract both national and international companies. Naidu will begin his journey by flying from Amaravati to Delhi and then onward to Zurich, where he will meet with the Indian Ambassador. He will also hold meetings with industrialists, discuss investment opportunities, and promote the state.
During his visit, CM Naidu will attend sessions on green hydrogen, energy transition, and discuss key issues with CEOs from major companies like Coca-Cola, Walmart, and Cisco, as well as UAE’s Finance Minister Abdullah Bin. His engagement with these global leaders is expected to bolster Andhra Pradesh’s position as an attractive investment destination.
The four-day trip aims to rejuvenate the state’s brand, creating job and employment opportunities for the youth. The government believes this visit will play a pivotal role in bringing in investments, both domestic and foreign.
