CM Chandrababu Hails Centre’s package For Visakha Steel Historic

Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu has expressed his happiness over the announcement of a package of Rs 11,440 crore by the Centre for the preservation of Visakhapatnam Steel Plant. He praised the Central Package for taking a historic decision and this is a matter of pride for the people of AP.

On this occasion, he expressed special gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, and Steel and Mines Minister Kumaraswamy. Meanwhile, Union Civil Aviation Minister Rammohan Naidu also expressed his happiness over the official announcement of the special package for the steel plant.

He thanked the Prime Minister Narendra Modi for allocating the package and expressed hope that the Central Package will be very useful in overcoming the losses of the Visakhapatnam Steel Plant. He said that the package will contribute to the path of profits with full production of the plant.

He said that this is a proof of the sincerity of the Central Government towards the development of the state and the aspirations of the people. The Centre, which is ready to save the Visakhapatnam Steel Plant, has announced a special package of Rs 11,440 crore.

The central government released an official statement on Friday that a decision was taken in the Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs meeting held on Thursday under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. It is expected that this special package will bring glory to the steel plant.

This decision was announced by Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnav and Steel Minister Kumaraswamy. They said that this decision was taken at the initiative of the Prime Minister. Prime Minister Modi informed about the decision taken on the Visakhapatnam Steel Plant package through an X-post.

“The Visakhapatnam Steel Plant has a special place in the hearts and minds of the people of Andhra Pradesh. During yesterday’s Cabinet meeting, it was decided to provide equity support of over Rs. 10,000 crore for the plant. This has been done understanding the importance of the…”, PM Modi said.
