Amidst the rifts in Manchu Mohan Babu’s family, it is interesting to note that Manchu Manoj along with his wife Mounika met Minister and TDP General Secretary Nara Lokesh in Naravaripalle on Wednesday. They were with the minister for 45 minutes. From there, the couple went to A. Rangapet to participate in an animal show.
While Manchu Manoj and Mohan Babu have connections with YSRCP leaders, it is noteworthy that Manoj’s wife Mounika belongs to the TDP family. After landing at the Renigunta airport from Hyderabad, Manoj and his wife Monica went to Mohan Babu University in a huge rally.
However, the police prevented them from entering the university as per the court order. Police personnel were deployed at the university after receiving information that Manoj was reaching there. After that, they met Nara Lokesh. Amidst the dramatic developments, Manchu Manoj paid homage to the graves of his grandfather and grandmother.
In the morning, a large number of police were deployed outside the college after receiving information that Manchu Manoj was coming to the university. Manoj, who had arrived at the college with his wife Mounika, was stopped by the police outside the gate. The police told Manoj that he was not allowed to enter the college in the wake of the court orders.
Following this, Manoj turned back after receiving notices from the police. From there, he went directly to Naravaripalle and met Minister Lokesh. Later, he went to the cattle festival being held in Rangampet. Later, again when Manoj and Mounika reached the university, the police stopped them saying that they were not allowed.
Manoj told the police that he was going to pay homage to the graves of his grandfather and grandmother. The police once again told him that Manoj was not allowed to enter the university in accordance with the court orders. Manoj argued with the police that he did not need anyone’s permission to go to the graves of his grandfather and grandmother.
In this process, tense conditions prevailed for some time. Manoj shouted loudly at the gate demanding that the gates be opened. After talking to the CI on the phone, the police took Manoj to the graves. After coming out, Manoj spoke to the media and complained that some people were causing serious problems to the students of the college hostel and the locals.
He alleged that he was being blocked at every step when he tried to tell his father about the same matter. Manchu Manoj said that he would file a complaint with the police about the developments.
