The Karimnagar district review meeting held at the Karimnagar Collectorate on Sunday turned into a heated one. MLAs Kaushik Reddy and Sanjay clashed during the meeting. The district review meeting was held during the visit of District Incharge Minister Uttam Kumar Reddy and discussed government schemes.
Ministers Sridhar Babu and Ponnam Prabhakar and MLAs of the joint Karimnagar district attended the meeting. While Jagityal MLA Sanjay was preparing to speak, Huzurabad MLA Padi Kaushik Reddy intervened and asked, “Which party are you?”
Kaushik Reddy made a fuss and asked not to give mike to MLA Sanjay. When Sanjay asked why he was not given the mike, Kaushik Reddy started an argument and said that he should name the party first and speak. Sanjay was interrupted while speaking on the mike. He challenged him to win on a Congress ticket if he dared.
This led to a war of words between the two. The argument escalated and both of them grabbed each other. They fought in front of the ministers. The police, who entered the scene, forcibly dragged Kaushik Reddy out of the collectorate. In the wake of the controversy, chaos prevailed.
Meanwhile, Kaushik Reddy was furious that Sanjay won on a BRS ticket and now speaking in support of the Congress party. On the other hand, Congress ranks are expressing their anger that wherever Kaushik Reddy is, there will be controversies.
Meanwhile, Ministers Uttam Kumar Reddy, Ponnam Prabhakar and Sridhar Babu expressed their anger over MLA Kaushik Reddy’s behavior. Minister Uttam was angry that it was not right to stop and attack Jagityala MLA Sanjay.
Meanwhile, after coming out, Padi Kaushik Reddy lamented that winning with a BRS B farm Sanjay spoke shamelessly for Congress. He expressed anger that he was dragged away by hundreds of policemen. He made it clear that he will definitely continue to question them.
