Revanth Reddy’s Brother Also Treated with CM protocol, Disregarding constitutional values

Congress supreme leader Rahul Gandhi is travelling all over the country, holding copies of the Constitution in his hands and saying that the Constitution is our Vedas. He is extolling the supremacy of the Constitution and campaigning to create awareness among the people. He is promising to protect constitutional values.

But on the contrary, Revanth Reddy’s rule in Telangana continues, defying the very constitutional norms. The living proof of that is the fact that CM’s brother Tirupati Reddy is participating in official programs in Vikarabad district and is undermining constitutional values.

This incident proves that the Revanth family has no respect for the constitution. Revanth Reddy has allegedly unleashed a tyrannical rule in the state in contrast to constitutional values.  Recently, CM Revanth Reddy is putting a big emphasis on family rule and is committing anarchy contrary to the protocol provisions.

Although his brother Tirupati Reddy has no political status, not a member of any elected office or a nominated one, he is participating in official functions and abusing his power and creating anarchy. Tirupati Reddy came with a huge convoy to lay the foundation stone of a development project in the Kodangal constituency.

His convoy stopped just outside the village. School children welcomed him with a parade in the sun. The Vikarabad Collector remained like a common man next to Tirupati Reddy, who had no status. While enjoying all this, Tirupati Reddy felt like a Chief Minister himself, not like a Chief Minister’s brother. BRS leader KTR ridiculed that “If a Chief Minister is elected in Telangana.. half a dozen more people came for free..! That this is the luck of the people of Telangana”.

Moreover, the opposition party BRS bought MLAs like cattle. Revanth Reddy threatened, blackmailed and conspired to change the party if the party did not change. Rahul Gandhi said that they are against party defections. During the election campaign he said that if any one from another party wants to join Congress, first he should resign from the elected position.

But Rahul did not even say a word about the party defections that took place in Telangana. After the party defections the Revanth government also violated the rules in the matter of appointing the chairman of the Public Accounts Committee in the Assembly. The post that should have gone to the opposition party, was given to an MLA who had defected to the Congress party.
