BRS Executive President and former minister KT Rama Rao challenged Chief Minister Revanth Reddy to take a lie detector test if he dares to participate in the Formula E car racing affair.
After over six and half hours of interrogation by ACB officials on Thursday, KTR commented that Due to his understanding of things and knowledge of developments are very limited, the Chief Minister is thinking that some kind of scam has taken place in this.
However, he said that he is ready for a discussion anywhere. “Let’s put a lie detector in front of open live cameras and talk. Let the people of the country decide who is a thief. The whole world seems green to a green-eyed person. A thief like Revanth Reddy steals from everything. He may have the perverted idea that he will not eat a penny in everything”, he added.
However, KTR asserted that he has not committed a single paisa of corruption and these theft cases and lottery cases will not stand. He said that he will go whenever the ACB comes. But, he said that the ACB officials did not ask him to come for investigation again.
KTR said that the ACB officials asked him only four or five questions, but in forty different ways, which were written by Revanth Reddy. KTR clarified that the ACB officials did not ask anything new. “I answered all the questions asked by the ACB to the best of my knowledge and understanding. I fully cooperated with the investigation. I told them many times that I would come back for investigation whenever they called me”, he said.
“I also told the investigation officials that this is a bad case. I told them that you do not know what you are doing under the pressure of this government. I asked them why they are investigating an irrelevant case. Today, I said that it was a mistake to try to achieve something under political pressure. I said that I would cooperate fully whenever I was called for investigation again”, he added.
He said that it is true that the money was sent. But, he said that he asked them where the corruption was. KTR said that there was no answer from the ACB officials. KTR appeared for the ACB investigation along with his lawyer Ramachandra Rao.
