TTD EO Shyamala Rao said that they will ensure that there is no problem in the darshan of Srivari and accommodation facilities in Tirumala. He said that some suggestions have been received for easier darshan of Srivari.
Revealing decisions of the TTD Trust Board meeting held at Annamayya Bhavan in Tirumala, Shyamala Rao said that steps are being taken to provide quality food at low prices in Tirumala. He said that due to the huge increase in the number of devotees in Tirumala, the current staff at the Annaprasada preparation center is not enough and sufficient staff will be appointed.
The EO said that it was decided in the board meeting to set up a food safety department in Tirumala. He revealed that a feedback system is being set up to ensure that the problems of devotees coming to Tirumala are known and resolved from time to time.
Shyamala Rao said that AP CM Nara Chandrababu Naidu has ordered to promote the TTD programs worldwide and a committee is being formed to formulate guidelines for this and that a Srivari temple will be constructed in every state.
He said that he will write a letter to the Center for national status for SWIMS Hospital and that SWIMS will be further developed with financial assistance from the Central Government. He revealed that treatment centers will be set up to reduce the health problems of walking devotees.
He said that it was decided in the meeting to set up a digital corporation to take feedback from devotees on TTD services. He said that Rs 2 crore will be released for Kanchi Kamakoti Traditional School in Tirupati. He said that the governing council has approved the Food Safety Board in TTD.
“We will ensure that there is no problem in Srivari Darshan and accommodation facilities. We will take steps to provide good food at low prices in Tirumala. CM Chandrababu said that TTD programs should be widely publicized. We will build Srivari temples in every state. We will set up treatment centers to reduce the health problems of walking devotees”, he added.
