It seems that the Revanth Reddy government is preparing to take action against former minister and BRS working president KT Rama Rao in a series of cases soon, in which his name is being heard. With the ACB already receiving approval from the Governor to move forward against KTR in the Formula-E race case, there are chances that the police will start further action in other cases also in which he is said to have a role.
KTR’s name is not in the FIR in the phone tapping case that created a sensation in Telangana. However, the state police have the option of adding KTR and others’ names at any time based on the statements given by the arrested police officer.
Similarly, in the Lagacharla case, there is a possibility of adding KTR’s name to the list of accused with the statements of former MLA Patnam Narender Reddy, BRS local leader Suresh, who have already been arrested, details of phone calls, and other technical evidence.
The Governor’s permission is required only in cases related to corruption of public representatives. The police department does not need the Governor’s prior permission in criminal cases. However, there are chances that KTR will be investigated in other cases as well, ahead of this Formula case.
It is reported that an FIR will be registered in the Formula-E case after Monday, and then notices will be given to KTR. It is said that after taking further action against KTR in this case, a series of notices will start in other cases.
It is reported that senior police officials are planning to move forward with including KTR among the accused only after collecting solid evidence. Former police officials are of the opinion that by arresting hero Allu Arjun in connection with the stampede that took place at Sandhya Theater, the government has given a glimpse to all those who are on the wanted list in various cases.
If we look at the words that CM Revanth Reddy also spoke to the national media after Allu Arjun’s arrest, there is a discussion in political circles that there are many meanings behind the comments that the law will take its course.
