Allu Arjun has been formally released from Chanchalguda Jail in Hyderabad as his bail was delayed. He has been spotted arriving at the office of Geetha Arts some time ago, accompanied by high security. This comes after the Telangana High Court ruled to provide the actor with four-week interim bail on Friday evening. The court also asked him to submit a bond worth ₹50,000.
Despite the court’s clear instructions, Allu Arjun was made to remain in jail overnight due to delays in the release procedure. His lawyer, G. Ashok Reddy, voiced strong frustration, criticizing the Chanchalguda Central Jail authorities for not acting promptly on the court order. Reddy made it clear that they would take legal action over the delay.
Speaking to the press after the release, Ashok Reddy clarified that the Telangana High Court had granted Allu Arjun bail with clear instructions for an immediate release. He pointed out that the necessary order was delivered to the jail authorities, but they failed to act upon it.
Reddy raised concerns over the unnecessary delay, questioning why the actor wasn’t released right away. He demanded answers from the involved police officers and expressed that Allu Arjun’s detention seemed unlawful. The lawyer confirmed that they would be taking legal steps to address the wrongful detention and decide on the next course of action.
