Karnataka: Actor Darshan has received some relief in the Renukaswamy murder case, where he, along with his friend Pavitra Gouda, was arrested. The Karnataka High Court has granted bail to both Darshan and Pavitra Gouda. Additionally, bail has been provided to seven other individuals currently serving jail sentences in connection with this case.
The arrest of Darshan on June 11 created a significant sensation. Police investigations revealed that he was accused of physically and mentally torturing Renukaswamy, a fan from Chitradurga, after allegedly sending inappropriate messages to Pavitra Gouda. In this case, 15 individuals, including Darshan and Pavitra Gouda, were taken into custody.
Post-mortem reports confirmed that Renukaswamy was subjected to brutal attacks, including an electric shock. Darshan, who was initially granted temporary bail, later filed a petition seeking regular bail and has now been relieved by the High Court’s decision. Currently, Darshan is undergoing treatment in a hospital due to back pain.
