CM Chandrababu Naidu has instructed all government departments to adopt technology to provide quality services and efficient governance to the people. He said that real-time information should be collected in all departments and integrated through RTGS. Ultimately, he directed that the best services should be provided through ‘WhatsApp Governance’.
CM Chandrababu reviewed with RTGS (Real Time Governance Society) officials at the Secretariat and directed that a system for issuing civil services should be created through WhatsApp from now on. He said that a special system should be created to provide caste and income certificates and other documents through WhatsApp.
He suggested that artificial intelligence and deep tech technology services should be used to receive requests from the people and resolve them quickly. RTGS should also examine the resolution of requests and the level of satisfaction of the people, he added.
CM Chandrababu Naidu advised the officials that visuals collected through drones, CCTV cameras, satellites and IoT devices should also be integrated. Recalling that a marijuana crop identified through Google Maps was recently confirmed with the help of drones, the CM suggested that drones be used in the coming days to identify crop pests and alert farmers.
He also said that dangerous places on the roads of the state should be explored and resolved through drones. Officials told the CM that the household geo-tagging undertaken across the state has entered the final stage and that the geo-tagging of 95 percent of the families has already been completed.
The CM has sanctioned funds of Rs. 20 crore for the purchase of another 1000 Aadhaar kits to bring Aadhaar-related services closer to the people. The CM also instructed the officials to create a single portal to monitor various projects undertaken in the state at a cost of more than Rs 100 crore.
The portal should update the information of 80 projects being undertaken under the Central Government in real time. The CM has decided to launch a new web portal on January 1 next year, which will provide a permanent solution to the difficulties arising in obtaining birth and death certificates in the state.
