Mega Powerstar Ram Charan is wasting no time after dedicating nearly three years for his upcoming political thriller Game Changer. Even before its release, Charan commenced shooting for his next film which is tentatively titled ‘#RC16’, a rural sports drama set in the backdrop of Uttarandhra region in Andhra Pradesh. The RRR actor is reportedly going to appear in an intense avatar in this film.
The first schedule of #RC16 kicked off in Mysuru last month and Charan joined the sets for a brief schedule. Director Buchi Babu Sana filmed some key episodes involving the principal cast in the first schedule. Now, the acting shifts to Hyderabad for the next major shooting part.
As per the latest news, a special set resembling a booth bungalow is being erected in Hyderabad for this schedule. Ram Charan and other prominent character artists will shoot inside this set for a couple of weeks. Though the film is a sports drama, the director wants a booth bungalow set to shoot some episodes in the story. This sounds a bit crazy and interesting.
Recently, Bollywood actor Divyenndu, best known for playing Munna Bhaiya in Mirzapur, has joined the cast. The makers introduced his character with a first-look poster. Jahnvi Kapoor is the female lead and Kannada superstar Shivaraj Kumar is portraying a significant role in the film.
Charan underwent phenomenal physical transformation for his role under fitness coach Shivoham Bhatt. The actor also went for a slight makeover in his apperance. Peddi is the tentative title for this film. Oscar award winners AR Rahman will provide the music.
