KTR Highlights Public Disillusionment with Congress Government Within a Year

Saturday, December 21, 2024
BRS Working President KTR said that public disillusionment with the Congress government has become evident within just a year of its governance. He cited a comment made by a survey representative, who claimed that if new elections were held, KCR would regain power. KTR made these remarks during the preview event of the short film Nammi Nanaboste, organized under the leadership of BRS leader and former MLA Rasamai Balakishan.
KTR shared that a survey representative had met with him and provided insights into the Congress government’s performance over the past year. The representative also detailed the possible political dynamics in constituencies where BRS MLAs, who had joined the Congress, were now located.
KTR pointed out that while public opposition typically arises after three or four years against any government, it has already emerged within a year under the Congress regime. He emphasized that BRS, under KCR’s leadership, is engaging in a robust struggle, and sustaining this fight would ensure a return to power for KCR.
Addressing the ongoing challenges, KTR compared the vibrance of Telangana Bhavan with the emptiness of Gandhi Bhavan. He mentioned that the BRS Legal Cell team is actively fighting for victims of the Lagacherla incident. He assured that tribal farmers held in jail would be released and noted that complaints regarding the incident had already been submitted to the National Human Rights Commission and the SC-ST Commission.
KTR also addressed issues raised by former Sarpanchs, who are demanding the clearance of pending dues, and Asha workers, who requested that their problems be highlighted in the Assembly. He revealed that many people visited Telangana Bhavan that day to share their grievances.
Speaking about the short film Nammi Nanaboste, KTR described it as emotionally powerful and said it resonates deeply with the people. He stated that Telangana citizens are growing increasingly agitated with the Congress government and pledged to fight on behalf of the people, emphasizing that while political setbacks are significant, the commitment to continue the struggle remains strong.
