The Nampally Court has issued summons to Telangana Minister Konda Surekha in connection with a defamation case filed by prominent actor Nagarjuna. The case alleges that Konda Surekha made inappropriate remarks against the actor, prompting him to seek criminal action.
The court, after considering Nagarjuna’s petition, directed the minister to appear for the next hearing scheduled on December 12.
Konda Surekha’s controversial comments on the divorce of Naga Chaitanya and Samantha have drawn significant attention. In a related development, BRS Working President K.T. Rama Rao (KTR) has also filed a defamation case against the minister over similar remarks. The court has recorded the arguments of the petitioners in both cases.
