Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu advised government employees to `Do Smart Work’, but not `Hard Work’ and they need not stay in offices after 6 PM. Speaking at the 75th Constitution Day programme, he said he will also leave the Secretariat by 6 PM.
He advised the employees not to work hard… and to do smart work. He commented that in the past, there was a culture of working long hours in the office. But, he said there is no need for that now due to technology. He said that it is now his policy that no one should stay in the office after 6 pm.
He said that no government employee, including the Secretariat employees, has to work long hours. He said that good results can be achieved through smart work. The Chief Minister said that he is also trying to reach home from the Secretariat by 6 pm.
Chandrababu Naidu said that after 75 years of the implementation of the Constitution, we are moving forward by overcoming challenges. Along with Independence Day, we are celebrating January 26, but we should also observe the day the Constitution was adopted.
He said that the Constitution of India is a sacred book for all religions and all regions. He said that wealth was created with economic reforms. However, CM Chandrababu said that economic reforms were started in 1991 with the intention of taking that wealth to the lower classes, by which to create wealth.
He said that it is necessary to use wealth for zero poverty, and technology has made economic creation easier. The CM said that the democratic dividend is an advantage for this. Chandrababu Naidu suggested that even young children should understand the Constitution. Everyone should pray to God every day. However, the Constitution should be respected.
CM Chandrababu said that the constitution of the country was prepared by studying the constitutions of all the countries in the world and taking the best practices from them, and that solutions were provided in the constitution by anticipating future challenges.
He said that 11 people from AP are members of the Constituent Assembly. He said that the constitution was put in place to ensure social, economic and political justice.
