Kavitha’s Political Comeback: KCR’s Plan For Key Role In BRS

Sunday, November 24, 2024

The BRS MLC and daughter of K. Chandrashekar Rao, or KCR, Kalvakuntla Kavitha is giving folks a good amount of reasons to wonder if she is all set to make a political comeback. After targeting the Modi government on social media over the Adani issue in recent times, there have been more questions than ever about her return to active politics. As Kavitha had kept silent after landing herself into a Delhi liquor case and was released from Tihar Jail, she is now gradually re-entering the political scene.

Until now, Kavitha has kept a low profile, but she’s now taking concrete steps to re-engage with the public and the political landscape. She recently met with Telangana Jagruthi leaders and is preparing to submit a petition to the BC Dedication Commission, advocating for a caste-based census and the collection of accurate data on the BC population. This move signals her intention to continue championing social causes and build her political presence once again.

Many had expected Kavitha to step back into the limelight during the Bathukamma festival, but she remained quiet at the time. However, her current actions suggest she is laying the groundwork for a more significant political role in the future.

Speculations within party circles also prevail, stating that KCR will appoint Kavitha as the new head of the Telangana Women’s Wing, which has been lying vacant ever since Gundu Sudharani resigned to join Congress. Other women leaders had also been eyeing the same post, but it seems Kavitha is going to be the front-runner for this key position, further strengthening her political power.

Should Kavitha accept this position, it would mark a significant chapter in her political comeback. As events continue to unfold, all eyes are now on how Kavitha plans to navigate her re-entry into politics and the key role KCR envisions for her in the coming years.
