Actor Ram Charan is currently engaged in promoting his upcoming film Game Changer. Alongside this, he is gearing up for the shoot of his next project. Starting November 22, Charan will participate in the filming of his new movie in Mysore, directed by Uppena fame Buchi Babu Sana, with music composed by the legendary A.R. Rahman.
In a noteworthy gesture, Ram Charan visited the Kadapa Dargah on Monday, honoring a promise made to A.R. Rahman. He attended the 80th National Mushaira Ghazal event at the dargah, a venue Rahman visits every year. This time, Charan accompanied him, fulfilling a commitment he had made to the locals on Rahman’s behalf.
Despite his packed schedule and being in the midst of observing the Ayyappa Swamy Deeksha, Charan attended the event as the chief guest. Buchi Babu Sana also joined him in visiting the dargah.
Speaking on the occasion, Charan said, “A.R. Rahman informed me about this event three months ago. When I promised to join him, I made sure to keep my word. Even though I am observing the Ayyappa Deeksha, I came here today for him.
I share a deep connection with the Kadapa Dargah. It holds a special place in my heart because I visited this dargah a day before the release of Magadheera, which turned out to be a monumental success and a turning point in my career. Coming back here today brings me immense happiness.”
