BJP Legislative Party leader Aleti Maheshwar Reddy has predicted that a new Chief Minister will come to Telangana soon, and that too by December. He alleged that Congress supreme leader Rahul Gandhi has not even given an appointment to the present Chief Minister Revanth Reddy for the past seven months.
He said that even Priyanka Gandhi did not give an appointment to Revanth Reddy even after he went to Kerala during her filing of nomination and that he had come to see her from a distance. Maheshwar Reddy alleged that senior Congress ministers are revolting against Revanth Reddy’s unilateral functioning.
Maheshwar Reddy made key allegations that the Congress high command realized that Revanth Reddy was corrupt after increasing the cost of the Musi project three times, and that is why a purge was initiated. That is why the Congress is distancing itself from Revanth, he added.
He alleged that Delhi is receiving a large number of complaints against the CM’s unilateral approach. He said that his fellow ministers and MLAs believe that the CM is indulging in huge collections, and the party high command had also inquired about the reason for Revanth Reddy’s self-agenda.
He said that senior party leader and former Union Minister Pallam Raju had directly explained the situation to Sonia Gandhi on the Musi issue and complained against Revanth Reddy. He claimed that while Sonia Gandhi had entrusted the issue to DK Shivakumar, who failed to contact Revanth Reddy, who did not even pick up his phone.
Maheshwar Reddy said that the Congress party is already in search of a successor to Revanth Reddy and three senior ministers in the Revanth cabinet are in the race. Those three ministers are frequently complaining about the Revanth style of functioning to Delhi leaders, he added.
Realizing all this, he said that Komatireddy Rajagopal Reddy openly predicted that Uttam Kumar Reddy would become the CM and that he had a scar on his tongue.
