After days of suspense, Prasanth Varma has finally unveiled the character portrayal of Hanuman in ‘Jai Hanuman’. Kannada star Rishab Shetty is set to take on the iconic role of Lord Hanuman in the much-anticipated sequel.
Director Prasanth Varma created sensation and gained acclaim with the mythological superhero film ‘HanuMan’ featuring Teja Sajja in the lead role. Following its blockbuster success, he announced the sequel, expanding Prasanth Varma’s Cinematic Universe (PVCU). Yesterday, Prasanth teased fans with a pre-look poster, and today, marking the special occasion of Diwali, he presented National-Award winner Rishab Shetty as Lord Hanuman through the first-look poster.
In the captivating poster, Rishab exudes the divine essence of Lord Hanuman. The Kantara actor was seen on his knees, holding the idol of Lord Sri Ram. The actor brought the iconic character into life with his presence. Along this poster, they captioned, “A vow from the Tretayuga, bound to be fulfilled in the Kaliyuga.”
With both the director and actor having pan-Indian recognition with their films HanuMan and Kantara, respectively, the film is targeting a pan-Indian scale and releasing it in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Kannada, and Malayalam.
Making it with high production values, the film is produced by Naveen Yerneni and Ravi Shankar under the esteemed banner of Mythri Movie Makers. Additional cast and technical crew details are expected to be announced soon. The details of when the film’s shoot begins will also be revealed shortly.
