The Andhra Pradesh government will fulfill one of its poll promises as it is planning to hold the DSC (District Selection Committee) exam. A big notification for the exam is going to come out on November 6. The recruitment process has aimed to fill up the 16,347 teaching positions and the School Education Department is all set to do so. Results of the TET will come out on November 2 and the new qualified will be able to apply for the DSC.
DSC recruitment is intended to take place this coming summer; the government aims at this period, hopefully within three-four months with a high possibility of being able to offer positions for the new recruits before the start of the new school term. Furthermore, over this summer, the training meant for the newly recruited teachers will hopefully come to a close, thereby eliminating all single-teacher school-related difficulties since the near 12,000 count only possesses one teacher. Post-induction, the availability of subject teachers is expected to be improved in both primary and higher education.
The School Education Department has issued the final answer key for TET after settling objections to the preliminary version. Altogether, 368,661 candidates had appeared for TET. The candidates will be eligible to apply for DSC if they clear the test. This recruitment drive is a major milestone in strengthening the educational framework in Andhra Pradesh.
