Senior Congress leader and AP Congress affairs in-charge Manikam Tagore accused that former chief minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy has spent his entire tenure as Chief Minister only collecting money. He gave a sharp response to YSRCP’s post in ‘X’ stating that YS Rajasekhar Reddy’s first priority is to solve public problems.
For this, Manikam Tagore said Jagan used to meet only rich people when he was Chief Minister, unlike his father who never bothered to give audience to common people to know their problems in the name of `Praja Darbra’. He alleged that Jagan was preoccupied with increasing his assets, but never worried about public issues.
He recalled that Dr Rajasekhara Reddy was the first to give priority to solving public problems and every morning his daily routine would start after meeting people. Jagan may be the successor of Rajasekhar Reddy as a son in the family, but never in public life and politics, he added.
Meanwhile, APCC chief YS Sharmila deplored that her brother has been demolishing the public image of their family by leaking internal letters among family members. She said that though she has been having MoU signed by her brother for the last six years, she has never leaked it out and disclosed anywhere only not to give scope for others to speak bad about the YS family.
Despite facing several hardships, she said she has never tried to make use of this MoU and did not go to any media house to give scope for others to take advantage of it. Besides all heart burning experiences, she recalled that both her mother and she had campaigned for YCP in two successive elections and stood behind her brother to make him Chief Minister of the state. She asked if Jagan dares to say that he had shown the same concern towards his sister?
On the other hand, TDP spokesperson Kommareddy Pattabhiram alleged that there is a family drama going on in YSRCP chief Jagan’s family. Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy, YV Subba Reddy and Karunakar Reddy, who work as a gang at Tadepalli Palace, are only reading scripts as per the orders received from their `supreme leader’.
