Actor Srikanth Iyengar Promises Apology For Remarks on Film Reviewers

Actor Srikanth Iyengar has responded to recent remarks he made about film reviewers, releasing a video in which he promises to apologize soon. During the success meet of the film ‘Pottel’, Srikanth Iyengar used strong language against film reviewers, saying that people who don’t understand filmmaking are giving reviews and suggested that film reviews should be stopped. His comments sparked a wave of criticism on social media. Addressing the issue, the actor explained in the video, “I made some remarks during the ‘Pottel’ success meet. I realize I may have hurt some people with certain comments. I will soon apologize on the right points. Please be patient.”

Meanwhile, the Film Critics Association filed a complaint with “MAA” President Manchu Vishnu, citing Srikanth Iyengar’s inappropriate remarks. The complaint calls for appropriate action, stating, “During the Pottel success meet at Prasad Labs on Saturday, Srikanth Iyengar spoke harshly about the media and used offensive language towards film reviewers. The media strongly condemns his remarks, which have hurt the sentiments of journalists. We urge you to take appropriate action against him.”
