She is playing the female lead opposite Tamil actor Jayam Ravi in the film titled Brother. The shooting formalities are currently progressing at a brisk pace.
The team of Brother recently released a still featuring Jayam Ravi and Priyanka. This is from the launch event of the film. Both the actors appeared with garlands in this picture. It is a custom for Kollywood films to have the lead pair honoured with garlands on the first day of shoot. Those unfamiliar with this tradition often mistake it for a wedding ceremony. So, it has been speculated that both Jayam Ravi and Priyanka are engaged. The picture immediately went viral and triggered discussions because Jayam Ravi recently got divorced.
Reacting to this viral picture, Priyanka Mohan said she heard about it very late. She also said the film production houses should stop sharing such pictures with the media, as they may create unnecessary debates and rumours.
