TDP chief and Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu will restart the TDP membership registration program at the party’s central office in Mangalagiri on Saturday. On Friday, Chandrababu Babu held a review with party leaders at his residence in Undavalli on strengthening the TDP from the village level and filling nominated posts.
To this extent, TDP state president Palla Srinivas has been directed to make extensive arrangements to take up membership registration in 175 constituencies at a record level. With this, TDP has taken initiative to start the program from today.
As usual, TDP activists should pay Rs. 100 for general membership. If someone pays Rs 1 lakh they will get permanent membership. Accident insurance up to Rs.5 lakh is provided to all the party members. The insurance amount was extended from Rs 2 lakh to Rs 5 lakh.
Rs.10,000 will be given immediately to the family members of the deceased towards their funeral expenses. Also help will be provided for education, medical and employment to the affected family members.
On behalf of the party, Chandrababu will hand over Rs.2 lakhs each to 73 people, who were previously uninsured in today’s program. Till now TDP has given Rs.102 crores under accident insurance. TDP has given assistance up to Rs.18 crores for natural death and other problems.
Meanwhile, Chandrababu Naidu has been working on filling the nominated posts for the second term. The chief minister held discussions with party leaders on filling nominated posts for about three hours on Friday. Efforts have been made to give the second list as soon as possible.
Party sources revealed that this time the list will be double the number of 21 nominated positions given in the first phase. Chandrababu is also in consultation with the alliance parties regarding the filling of nominated posts. A wide exercise is being done on the principle that those who work hard should be rewarded. For this, the information received through various channels is being analysed.
