Numero Uno director SS Rajamouli is known for his elaborate pre-visualisation and long workshops before commencing the shooting formalities due to the massive scale and budget of his films. He will do extensive research and undertake huge pre-production activities to make sure that everything is picture perfect before moving on to the sets.
For his upcoming film SSMB29 which is likely to be the biggest one in his career so far in all terms, Rajamouli is following a similar strategy. Even though the project was announced a couple of years earlier, the formal launch didn’t take place till now. There is no official word on when the regular shooting will start rolling. However, rumours are rife that the filming will commence in January next year.
Meanwhile, Rajamouli started scouting locations for this much awaited globe-trotting action adventure which is tipped to be the costliest Indian film ever made. The story is reportedly set in the backdrop of African forests and it will feature several international stars and renowned technicians.
Like he did for Baahubali and RRR, Rajamouli will film most of the part in specially constructed sets in Hyderabad. However , he needs some real locations to shoot some spectacular scenes. So, he is on the lookout for them. Since Senthil Kumar, Rajamouli’s frequent collaborator, is taking a break, PS Vinod will be handling the cinematography this time. This is the first time that Vinod will be working on a Rajamouli film.
Mahesh Babu is currently on transformation mode. He will sport a never before seen look in this film.
