Srivishnu, known for consistently delivering two to three films a year regardless of box office success, is now gearing up for his next project. Recently, his film Swag was released but didn’t perform well at the box office. However, without losing momentum, Srivishnu has already signed a new film. This project will mark the directorial debut of Raghava Reddy. While Swag didn’t make waves at the box office, it highlighted the director’s potential, earning him another opportunity.
Raghava Reddy pitched a story to Srivishnu, which the actor approved. The film will be produced by Sitara Entertainments, the same banner that brought Swathimuthyam to the audience. The upcoming project is also expected to be a family entertainer, much like Swathimuthyam.
Srivishnu, who experimented with different genres in films like Ombhim Bhush and Swag, finds that love stories and family dramas suit him best, with Sammohanam being a prime example. That film was a hit, and now Srivishnu is set to revisit the genre that plays to his strengths. Script work for the new film is complete, and casting and crew selection are underway.
