Next Election Results Depends on MLAs Image only, warns Chandrababu

Chief Minister and TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu warned party MLAs that next election results will depend mostly on the image of the present MLAs. Addressing a meeting of party MLAs, MPs and MLCs at TDP’s central office in Mangalagiri on Friday, he made it clear that how many seats TDP may win depends upon the behaviour of MLAs.

He said that everyone should realize why the YSRCP which got 151 seats fell to 11 if they did not commit any anarchy. He warned that if we go in the same way, the state will again turn into a regime of anarchy. He cautioned that if the leaders of the Telugu Desam Party also do the same mistakes made by the YSRCP in the sand and liquor policies, no one can save this party.

He said that it is necessary to review the work done by the government from time to time and take decisions for the future of the party.  He made it clear that the belief with which people voted for us should be maintained. He suggested party MLAs and other leaders to coordinate the suffering of the workers who have suffered severe losses in the last 5 years.

Chandrababu said that even though he has taken charge as the Chief Minister for the fourth time, he is unable to show much results immediately as all the systems, including the officials, have been destroyed. He said it will take time to fix all the systems due to corruption and limited resources. The Chief Minister said that during the last five years no proper audit was done in any department and central funds were also diverted at will.

He made it clear that everyone needs discipline in the matter of sand and alcohol. Asking TDP leaders to keep away from liquor business, he said we can understand some families like Magunta, who were in this business since a long time may continue, but others should keep away.

The Chief Minister cautioned that for any leader it may take a long time to gain credibility from people, but it only takes a minute to spoil it. He reminded that about 65 new MLAs have come from the youth and educated people and 18 ministers are new. He said that people’s expectations can be met only if we work as a united force. He made it clear that everyone should remember that no matter who makes a mistake in the NDA, the effect will be on the Chief Minister.
