Allagadda Heats Up: Akhila’s Warning To Subbareddy

Saturday, April 19, 2025

The political landscape in the Allagadda constituency of Rayalaseema is once again heating up. The tensions have intensified due to ongoing rivalries among leaders of the ruling Telugu Desam Party (TDP). Central to this unfolding drama are TDP MLA Bhuma Akhila Priya and A.V. Subbareddy, who was formerly an associate of her father, Bhuma Nagireddy, but is now positioned as her adversary. The exchanges of challenges between them have stirred a sense of apprehension in Allagadda, leaving locals concerned about the developments ahead.

Bhuma Akhila Priya and A.V. Subbareddy have experienced ongoing tensions for several years, leading to a rift between their respective groups. Despite both being part of the TDP, the party leadership has struggled to mediate their conflicts. Chandrababu has been making efforts for years to appease both sides. Recently, Akhila Priya has once again expressed her discontent, stating that she does not want Subbareddy to rise to her level, and she has issued a new warning to him.

Nandyal MLA Bhuma Akhila Priya intensified the ongoing dispute by giving A.V. Subbareddy an ultimatum to leave Allagadda. In response to this escalation, a significant police presence has been established outside Subbareddy’s home.

Recent tensions between rival groups have led to incidents of stone-throwing, escalating the ongoing conflict. Earlier today, A.V. Subbareddy arrived at his home in Allagadda, prompting law enforcement to establish a substantial security detail outside his residence. In response to MLA Akhila Priya’s demand for him to leave Allagadda, Subbareddy questioned, “Why should I depart just because someone tells me to?” This exchange has added to the apprehension surrounding the developing situation.
