In response, Pawan appointed former IAS officer Varaprasad to oversee Rajolu. Varaprasad won his seat in the latest elections, while Rapaka contested from Amalapuram as a YCP candidate but lost. Recently, after a period of silence, Rapaka reappeared at a Jana Sena meeting, sparking speculation about a possible return to the party.
