Superstar Rajinikanth’s much-anticipated film ‘Vettaiyan’, directed by TJ Gnanavel, made its grand debut in theaters worldwide today, October 10. The movie opened up with an overwhelming response from the audience all over the world.
With its star-studded cast including the biggest stars of Telugu cinema, the film features Rjainikanth in the lead role alongside Bollywood star Amitabh Bachchan, Rana Daggubati, Fahadh Faasil, Manju Warrier, Ritika Singh, Dushera Vijayan, Abhirami, Rao Ramesh, Kishore, GM Sundar, Rohini, Ramesh Thilak, Rakshan, and may others in pivotal roles.
While the film hit screens today, the popular streaming platform Amazon Prime has bagged the post-theatrical streaming rights. However, the makers have not yet announced the OTT release date; it will be available in Amazon Prime after a few weeks.
This high-budget action movie is backed by Subaskaran Allirajah under the prestigious banner of Lyca Productions. Musical sensation Anirudh Ravichander composed the musical tunes for this flick, with earlier released Manasilaayo and Hunter Vantaar becoming the chartbuster songs. The technical crew includes SR Kathir as the cinematographer, and Philoman Raja handled the editing.
