Most of the people complaining at the TDP central office in Mangalagiri every Saturday at the grievance program are about indiscriminate land encroachments that took place during previous YCP regime.

Transport Minister Mandipalli Ramprasad Reddy and TDP State President Palla Srinivasa Rao, who conducted a grievance program on Saturday, also received similar requests from the people. Venkaiah, a local, complained that two acres and 45 cents of government land had been encroached by some people in Venkatagiri of Tirupati district.

He said that the value of this place will be Rs 2 crore. He said that they are also looking to occupy the house of a disabled person next to the place. He deplored that though they have complained about it to officials several times to protect this very valuable government place, hardly any action was taken.

He said that he came to the TDP central office because he could not face the person who had occupied the place. He wants the government to take back the occupied land and start some development work on it. He said that a water tank needed by the locals and a park should be built for everyone’s use.

Similarly, the house of the disabled person was also measured and requested to be given to him. All India Youth Federation secretary V. Ganga Suresh complained that during the YSRCP regime, Professor Surendranath Reddy, brother-in-law of YS Jaganmohan Reddy, trampled on reservations and made arbitrary job appointments in Yogi Vemana University, Kadapa. He urged them to take action against these irregular appointments.

Meanwhile, S Srinivasulu from Guntakal mandal of Anantapur mandal alleged that YSRCP Social Media Coordinator P. Jayaram Reddy has been drawing lakhs of rupees from the government without actually grounding drinking water bores and supplying drinking water by tankers.

Labourer complained that B Vimala Devi, Employment Guarantee Scheme field officer in Mirjapuram panchayat, Kandrika Gollagudem village of Nuzvid mandal in Eluru district, has drawn more than Rs 6 lakhs in the name of paying them daily wages, without any payment. They urged to recover the amount from her and give it to them.
