Natural Star Nani scored a blockbuster hit with his latest film ‘Saripodhaa Sanivaram’, which was released on August 29, 2024. The film has crossed the 100 crore mark and is still successfully running in theaters even as it enters its fourth week in cinemas.
As its theatrical run approaches completion, the movie is preparing for its release in OTT. Popular streaming platform Netflix has announced that “Saripodhaa Sanivaram” will debut on their platform next week.
Making it an official announcement, Netflix took to their social media platforms and revealed the release date along with a poster featuring Nani. They wrote, “The sun shines every day. And Surya? On Saturdays. #SaripodhaaSanivaram is coming to Netflix on 26 September in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada, and Hindi! #SuryasSaturday.”
Nani takes on the role of Surya in this vigilante action drama, who unleashes all his anger on a single day, Saturday. Alongside Nani, the film stars Priyanka Mohan as the female lead and the renowned actor SJ Suryah as the main antagonist, portraying Dayanandh, an IPS officer. The supporting cast includes Sai Kumar, Abhirami, Aditi Balan, Murali Sharma, and Ajay in pivotal roles.
The film was produced by DVV Danayya under their production house, DVV Entertainments. Jakes Bejoy composed the musical tunes.
