Manchu Vishnu, president of the Movie Artists Association (MAA), has formally requested the Telangana Chief Minister, Deputy Chief Minister, and the Telangana Cinematography Minister to establish a commission aimed at enhancing the safety and representation of women in the Telugu film industry. Manchu Vishnu made this appeal via a post on the X platform.
In his statement, Manchu Vishnu emphasized the MAA’s commitment to prioritizing safety for everyone involved in the industry, both in front of and behind the camera. He affirmed the association’s dedication to the growth and development of the Telugu film industry and invited suggestions from industry professionals to set new standards for women’s safety and empowerment.
