Hyderabad: Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy held a review meeting on the Dharani land records portal at the Secretariat. Key attendees included Minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy, Chief Secretary Shanti Kumari, Kodanda Reddy, and K. Keshava Rao. The meeting focused on reviewing issues, proposed changes, and additions to Dharani.
During the meeting, CM Reddy emphasized the need for an in-depth study to resolve Dharani’s problems permanently, cautioning against amendments that could create new issues. He suggested gathering public opinion and convening an all-party meeting to consider diverse perspectives before enacting comprehensive legislation. The CM also indicated that the Dharani topic might be discussed in the assembly if necessary.
Separately, the cabinet sub-committee on GO 317 met, chaired by Damodar Rajanarasimha, with ministers Sridhar Babu and Ponnam Prabhakar in attendance.
Deputy CM Bhatti Vikramarka Reviews LRS
Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka held a review meeting on the Layout Regularisation Scheme (LRS) on Friday. The meeting focused on discussing modalities and forming special teams to address LRS applications. LRS committees will be established in 33 districts. Bhatti Vikramarka directed officials to expedite the processing of LRS applications.
