Actor Vikram’s long-delayed film Thangalaan, which has been in production for quite some time, has finally secured a release date. Directed by Pa Ranjith, the film is now set to hit theaters on August 15, coinciding with Independence Day.
Thangalaan features Parvathy Thiruvothu and Malavika Mohanan in significant roles. The cast also includes Pasupathy, Daniel Caltagirone, and Hari Krishnan. Earlier today, the team confirmed the release date of the film.
Thangalaan is a historical adventure set in the early 1900s at the renowned Kolar Gold Fields (KGF). The film delves into the experiences of oppressed communities involved in the gold mining endeavors in South India. The film features music by GV Prakash and is backed by Studio Green and Neelam Productions.
