YS Jagan Criticizes Andhra Pradesh Government Over Law And Order Situation

Thursday, November 21, 2024

Former Chief Minister and YSRCP chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy stated that a “demonic rule” continues in Andhra Pradesh with the implementation of a “Red Book Constitution.” Reacting to the murder of YSRCP worker Rasheed in Vinukonda, Jagan expressed his condolences to Rasheed’s family. He criticized the newly elected government, in power for just a month and a half, accusing it of transforming the state into a haven for murders and rapes under the TDP rule. Jagan highlighted the breakdown of law and order, claiming that the safety and dignity of the people are not being protected. He alleged that these atrocities are intended to suppress the YSRCP.

Jagan accused the TDP of orchestrating these attacks with political vendetta, calling Wednesday night’s murder in Vinukonda a clear example. He deemed it a disgrace for the government, alleging that individuals who should be acting responsibly, including the chief minister, are instead promoting such acts for political gain. He questioned the implementation of the Red Book Constitution and the undermining of all governmental machinery, including the police, which has led to increased criminal activity and violence.

Jagan issued a stern warning to Chandrababu Naidu to abandon his violent policies, reminding him that power is not permanent. He called for a special inquiry by central government agencies into the violence that has occurred since the new government took office. Jagan mentioned that he has appealed to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah to address the deteriorating law and order situation in Andhra Pradesh. He assured the party workers of his support, pledging to stand by the victims and assist them in every possible way.
