While TDP president and incumbent Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu is making every effort to take a strong message into the public that the previous government has done an irrevocable damage to Andhra Pradesh with its irregularities and anti-democratic policies, the YSR Congress party is struggling to counter him.
YSRCP president and former CM Jagan Mohan Reddy is no where in the political picture of Andhra Pradesh after the election results. He hasn’t addressed the media on any important issue and also skipped the assembly sessions. Even after a month since the new government took over the reigns of the state, Jagan is unable to come out and talk about any important issue.
Surprisingly, Jagan is silent on Chandrababu Naidu’s ‘White Papers’ on key issues relating to Polavaram, Amaravati, Power sector and Natural resources. While the CM is gearing up to unleash another White Paper to unearth the incompetence of Jagan’s regime in handling Law and Order across the state in the last five years, Jagan is yet to respond atleast to a single paper that have been released so far.
Former ministers like Perni Nani and Ambati Rambabu are the only leaders from YSRCP who are trying to counter Naidu’s accusations. But, they are unable to handle the counterattack effectively due to their inexperience and lack of proper knowledge on the subjects.
Looking at how Jagan went into complete oblivion makes everyone including YSRCP supporters feel that he is maintaining silence only because he has no idea about the facts and figures in the White Papers released by Naidu so far.
As the White Papers are based on diverse subjects which require a lot knowledge on all aspects concerning each very minutely, Jagan simply decided to remain silent instead of reacting and receiving further embarassment and criticism.
