Rajendranagar MLA and BRS leader Prakash Goud formally joined the Congress party on Friday evening in a significant political move. Welcoming him into the fold, Chief Minister Revanth Reddy draped him with a Congress scarf and presented him with a bouquet of flowers.
Earlier in the day, Prakash Goud arrived at the Chief Minister’s residence in Banjara Hills where the ceremonial joining took place. Accompanied by his supporters, he embraced the Congress party’s symbol as Minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy and MLC Mahender Reddy looked on. Speaking on his decision, Prakash Goud expressed his commitment to fostering development in his constituency through his new political affiliation.
