Arrests Soon In Attack On TDP Central Office In 2021

With the change of regime in the state, the police have intensified investigation into YCP leaders and activists’ violent attack on TDP central office in Mangalagiri on October 19, 2021, during the YCP regime. Police sources indicate that soon there will be arrests in this case.

The TDP office staff were attacked and furniture was destroyed. The cars in the party office premises were vandalized. After two and a half years, the police started an investigation into the matter. At that time, TDP leaders complained against many key leaders of YCP.

The police have not taken up an investigation on the cases registered in this incident. They visited the TDP office on Monday and examined the CCTV cameras. The police are working to identify the perpetrators of this attack. The police are investigating the attackers as well as who is behind the attack.

YCP leaders Devineni Avinash, Lella Appireddy and Alla Ramakrishna Reddy’s followers allegedly attacked the TDP office. The police who came to the TDP office took some CCTV footage with them. It seems that many people can be arrested in this case.

The police have already identified those who played a key role in this attack.  At that time, YCP leaders and activists stormed into the TDP office following a severe criticism of the then Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy by TDP leader Pattabhi Sitaram.

 In this incident vehicles including mirrors and furniture of the TDP office were destroyed. YCP workers attacked the staff and leaders of the TDP office. At that time some people were detained by the police. YCP supporters attacked TDP office as well as TDP leader Pattabhi’s residence.

 Valuables in Pattabhi’s house were destroyed and created a frightening scenario. After the attack on the TDP office, Lokesh’s followers attacked the police who went there. At that time, cases of attempt to murder were filed against Lokesh and others.
