Pawan Kalyan Says YCP Confined To 11 Seats Due To Abusive Language

Deputy Chief Minister and Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan in his maiden speech in the AP Legislative Assembly on Saturday, said that YCP was confined to 11 seats in the recent elections due to their abusive and insulting language only.

Welcoming the new Speaker Ch Ayyannapatrudu, said that so far people have seen his long public life filled with struggles and his aggressive speeches. But, he expressed hope that from today onwards people will see in him a sober and patient person.

Lamenting the YCP MLAs absent during Speaker election, he deplored that they had enjoyed their massive win in the previous elections, but unable to digest defeat this time. He advised them that  the intensity of feeling does not need to be in language, language is meant to unite minds but not to divide them.

Pawan Kalyan said that language is not meant to create hatred but to solve problems. He said that no matter how difficult the problem can be solved through discussions, but not to create a conflict. The Deputy CM said that the previous government had stopped the progress of the state by engaging in abusive language.

Pawan felt that every step we take today should be an example for future generations. He said in the House disagreement and argument are very basic foundations of democracy. Members should not indulge in arguments and personal insults that discussions should be held for public welfare, he added.

He expressed hope that deliberations in this house will lay a strong foundation to make Andhra Pradesh a developed state by 2047 in all aspects.

Pawan Kalyan said that during next five-year period of his public affairs, he wants discussions to be held to give a great future to the coming generation, to support the farmers, to ensure the safety of women and to rise to a higher level, to provide security to the government employees, and to bring development to all.
