Buddha Venkanna’s Bold Tongue-Cutting Challenge Over Controversial Exit Polls

Monday, November 25, 2024

The exit polls released yesterday for the general elections in Andhra Pradesh have stirred political parties. With no exit poll providing a reliable forecast, major parties are seeking favorable results. In this context, TDP leader Buddha Venkanna criticized a prominent survey agency’s exit poll and issued a challenge to the organization.

Buddha Venkanna noted that people are eagerly awaiting the survey results this time. He claimed that YSRCP, led by Jagan, is projecting confidence through what he described as manipulated surveys. Buddha threw down the gauntlet, stating he would cut off his tongue if the alliance does not win, and questioned whether Aara Mastan, the surveyor, would do the same if the alliance prevails. He accused Jagan of orchestrating a fake survey to boost morale within YSRCP and challenged Jagan to pledge never to enter the Assembly if YSRCP loses.

Buddha Venkanna pointed out that most surveys predict a victory for the alliance, contrasting sharply with the Ara Mastan survey. He suggested that YSRCP is already sensing defeat and using the survey to play mind games. Venkanna claimed that even key YSRCP leaders’ followers are betting on a TDP victory, and he warned people against being misled by fake surveys. He asserted that the alliance is expected to secure more than 130 seats, indicating a strong wave of support among the populace. In previous elections, people did not rely on exit polls as much, but now there’s a heightened anticipation, possibly to intimidate opposition counting agents.
